"A green, grassy spot to your tent on so that you are as close as you can be to fishing and rafting in Maupin, Oregon"

And, unlike the public sites, we take reservations, so you can be sure that you have a site of your own, ready for you when you pull into town.

Our campground is, literally, a big open meadow. Some sites are larger than others and some sites are more level than others. There are a few trees scattered around the perimeter, but shade is scarce, so be ready for lots of that hot, high desert weather! (Ask us about our ‘Plant a tree, camp for free’ program!) The sites that are large enough and level enough for an RV are identified.

A Few Rules:

All RV’s must be self-contained – no sewer, water or electric hook-ups on site at this time (though we hope to add those before too long!) We do provide porta-potties, potable water, garbage service and one picnic table per site.

You may have up to 6 people and 2 vehicles on one site. Additional vehicles are an additional $5 per night.

Neither open fires nor charcoal cooking are allowed in Maupin in the summer. We just have way too high of a fire danger risk in our area. You may bring a propane cook stove or propane BBQ to use however.

Our campground is a ‘family friendly’ place. So, if you’re here for a bachelor party or with a group who wants to party in the evening, please consider one of the BLM camp sites instead. We enforce a 10pm quiet curfew prohibiting playing music or loud talking after 10pm so that other campers can enjoy their stay. If we have to ask you to be quiet after 10pm, you may be asked to leave. In this case, your money will not be refunded. Generators must be turned off by 7pm and not turned back on until after 10am. Check out time is 1pm. If you will be returning from your raft trip after 1pm, please vacate your site before you go rafting or fishing.

If you are bothered by someone being loud after 10pm, please alert our camp host, Rick, promptly. His trailer is behind campsites #7 and #8. We can’t do anything about it if you wait until morning to report the problem.

Because we want to be a comfortable place for families, please keep your language child-appropriate. If you are using profane or vulgar language, you may be asked to leave and under these circumstances, your money will not be refunded.

Dogs are allowed to stay with you under these conditions: dogs must be on a leash, they must be cleaned up after, they may not bark such that it annoys other campers. (You will find doggy clean up bags near the camp host’s trailer). Most importantly, you may NOT leave your dog unattended on our campground property. Please make plans for your dog before you go rafting or fishing.
